Nursery Wall Art

Since we are not finding out the sex of the baby we decided it was best to go with something gender neutral for the nursery. Most of you know I love pandas! This was the perfect opportunity to incorporate pandas into the mix. I did not want to go black and white theme and base it just on the pandas, so I thought why not make it jungle themed/ABC themed. That way I am not limited to just buying panda items. My goal is to keep the nursery colors fairly light and pastel-like. That is just always how I envisioned our child's nursery to be.

We got my husband's adorable wooden cradle from when he was a baby. I love it! Its so old fashioned and different from today's style.

Since its old and custom made its a little difficult to find sheets for it. So it just made sense for me to make my own.

Give someone the gift of recipes:

I cook alot, people are always asking me can I have that recipe? As I cannot claim the ownership for a majority of my recipes (thank you pinterest) I thought it would be nice to share a few simple yet delicious recipes as a gift. It was super easy, I just printed the recipes, laminated them, then purchase a few small kitchen utensils and attached them to the recipe cards.  I chose to laminate them because after all they are in the kitchen and things can get a little messy when cooking.

Christmas Napkin Rings

We had a large crowd of family and friends visit us for Christmas this year. I spent alot of time pre-planning the foods we were going to have and less time on holiday projects this year. This was a fun and inexpensive project AND best of all these can be reused for years to come!

Happy Hubby2

I planned a little surprise party for my Husbands birthday. I thought it would be fun to make my own decorations. They turned out to be a hit! Of course I cannot take all the credit for them, the ideas came from Pinterest.
