Holiday

By Lisa, 6 March, 2017

So last year I purchased a ton of plastic Easter eggs from the dollar store. I was "that mom" who put her baby in a basket and placed all the plastic eggs around her to get a cute shot. Surprisingly it was a success and now I have a ton of plastic eggs leftover. There is no point in throwing them away since they will come in handy for upcoming easter egg hunts. I saw a fellow blogger post how to "revamp" these plastic eggs and thought it was a really cute idea. Then I searched pinterest and found that this looks to be a trending craft, so of course I had to try it. I had all the materials for this project at hand, so there was no excuses!

FREE PRINTABLE Valentine's Day Treat Tags(1)Valentine's Day is almost a week away! I am excited because this year my little one is in the toddler room and they are having a Valentine's Day party. I have been trying to figure out what to do for a while because not all the children have teeth yet, and I pretty much ruled out candy because everyone is still a little too young. I ended up going the "Gerber graduates puff" route. You can see my creation here.

Toddler friendly Valentine's day treatsToday I am sharing my "toddler friendly valentine" craft project. It was a toss up to figure out what to create for my child's upcoming Valentine's Day party. I went back in forth between food or stickers, I settled on the idea of food. Then I had to narrow it down to small group of "healthy-like" foods for toddlers. I figured parents would not appreciate the candy, or yet, maybe they would for themselves. Anyways, it was a toss up between "Sprout" baby puree, goldfish and puffs. I thought the puffs would be the better way to go. Then I asked her teachers and they agreed. So puffs it is!

Christmas Napkin Rings

We had a large crowd of family and friends visit us for Christmas this year. I spent alot of time pre-planning the foods we were going to have and less time on holiday projects this year. This was a fun and inexpensive project AND best of all these can be reused for years to come!

Happy Hubby2

I planned a little surprise party for my Husbands birthday. I thought it would be fun to make my own decorations. They turned out to be a hit! Of course I cannot take all the credit for them, the ideas came from Pinterest.

Halloween Accent Pillow

Halloween Accent Pillow

Halloween is just around the corner, I was trying to think of inexpensive but cute project to start. Since we have a new bench in our foyer I thought it would be really nice to spruce up that area with an accent pillow for each of the holidays.

2014 Halloween Movies

Here is a schedule of all the movies that we will be watching from now until Halloween. I know it seems like a lot, and sometimes we are not able to watch movies every night or we will mix it around. Its overwhelming for us to sit there and decide on a movie that night, this we use more as a guide.
